About GGHS

The idea began on the floor of a hair salon.

When you work with hair every day, you notice something most people never see: how much material is swept away. GGHS began with a desire to create a simple, practical and genuinely useful alternative.

The starting point

A professional experience became an environmental question.

GGHS founder Angelos Belogiannis comes from the hairdressing sector. Every day, he saw clippings swept up and thrown away without a second thought.

His experience in hairdressing and sales led to a practical question: could this material have a useful second life in Greece?

The answer was not just another product. It was a model: collection at source, responsible environmental applications, collaboration with research and new jobs with a social purpose.

The founder

Angelos Belogiannis

Knowing the sector matters because the collection method must work in a real salon: it needs to be simple, clean and easy for the team.

Our aim is a practical route for hair reuse. Shipping arrangements and any participation costs will be agreed before businesses send material.
